This policy explains how Roof Ready (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our website or make an enquiry. We only collect what we need to respond to you and to run our business, and we never sell your personal information.
The information we collect
- Enquiry details you give us. When you submit our quote form, we collect your name and the contact details and message you provide (phone, email and any details about your roof). We use these only to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
- How you found us. When you make an enquiry we also record non-personal information about how you arrived — for example the marketing source, campaign, referring website, the Google Ads click identifier (if you came from an ad) and the first page you landed on. This helps us understand which of our marketing brings genuine enquiries. It is recorded alongside your enquiry and is not used to identify you personally.
- Website usage (analytics). Like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, general device and location (city/region) information, and interactions such as clicking a phone number or submitting the quote form. This is collected using cookies and is aggregated; we do not send your name, email or phone number to Google Analytics.
- Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). Our site uses the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel to measure how our advertising performs and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. It records that a page was viewed and whether an enquiry action happened — submitting the quote form or tapping our phone number. We do not send your name, email or phone number to Meta.
Cookies & advertising
Our site uses cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to measure website traffic and performance, and cookies set by the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and audiences. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. You can control how your activity is used for Meta advertising in your Meta account settings. Blocking these cookies will not stop you using the site or contacting us.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange an inspection and provide a written quote.
- To contact you about the work you have asked us about.
- To measure and improve our website and understand which marketing is working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the website and respond to you:
- Web3Forms — delivers your quote-form submission to our inbox.
- Google (Analytics and Ads) — website analytics and advertising measurement, using aggregated, non-identifying data.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — advertising measurement and audiences, using aggregated, non-identifying data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and for our ordinary business records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete your enquiry details. Just get in touch using the details below. This policy is provided in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
